TheOpportunity.pk is built on trust. This page explains how we research, verify, and publish opportunities so you know exactly what we stand behind.
Verification process
Before any opportunity is published, we:
- Confirm the opportunity exists by visiting the official source page (university, embassy, or awarding-body website).
- Cross-check the deadline against the official source.
- Read the eligibility criteria in full and translate them for Pakistani applicants where useful.
- Document the official source URL prominently on the listing.
- Tag the publication date and the "last verified" date so you know when we last checked.
What we will not publish
- Opportunities sourced only from social media without an official link.
- Opportunities from organisations that charge a fee to apply (genuine fully-funded scholarships are free to apply for).
- Opportunities that have already passed their deadline.
- Sponsored content disguised as editorial. Any sponsored opportunity is clearly labelled with a "Sponsored" badge.
Updates and corrections
If a deadline or eligibility detail changes after publication, we update the listing as soon as we’re aware. If you spot an error, please email info@theopportunity.pk and we’ll correct it.
Sponsored content
We accept sponsored opportunity placements from universities, programs, and partners. Sponsored placements are clearly labelled and held to the same verification standard as editorial listings.

Anti-scam commitment
We do not charge for visa processing or university admission. We only charge for application help, and our prices are listed openly. If anyone tells you otherwise on our behalf, they are not us.
